Description
This release commemorates the centenary of Australian coinage, marking the Commonwealth’s introduction of a unified national currency in 1910. Each coin’s reverse depicts the effigies of the four monarchs who have appeared on Australian currency since 1910 — Edward VII, George V, George VI and Elizabeth II — together with a mintmark or privy mark. This set includes the Canberra ‘C’ mintmark and the Brisbane ‘B’, Melbourne ‘M’ and Sydney ‘S’ privy marks.
