Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with us at Phoenyx Curios, an Australian-based numismatic eCommerce store. We aim to provide high-quality products and excellent service. As many of our items are second-hand, often valued for their character rather than perfection, we understand the importance of customer satisfaction.

To ensure a positive experience, we have created the following return and refund policy:

Eligibility for Returns
  • ✔ Returns will be accepted within 30 days of the customer receiving the item if you are not satisfied with your purchase. This excludes non-refundable items/products.
  • ✔ All products must be returned in the same physical and collectible condition as received — free from additional wear or damage — and must include the original item and all associated packaging to be eligible for a refund. Products damaged in transit are handled under separate conditions.
Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at contactus@phoenyxcurios.com.au with your order details and reason for return. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense, unless:

  • The return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent).
  • The item was damaged during transit.

If your return is accepted, we will provide:

  • A return shipping label (if applicable).
  • Instructions on how to return the item.

Note: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted, meaning a refund will not be issued.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if:

  • The product is defective or damaged.
  • You received the wrong item.

We will evaluate the issue and work towards a resolution as soon as possible.

Non-Refundable or Limited-Refund Items

Certain items may not be eligible for a refund or may have shorter return timeframes, including but not limited to:

  • Precious metals (gold, silver, platinum).
  • Clearance or sale items, which may be final sale unless otherwise stated.
Refund Process
  • ✔ Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 1-3 business days.
  • ✔ Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
Important Notes:
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.
  • Items returned without original packaging may not qualify for a refund.
  • If the return is due to a defect or our error, we will cover the return shipping cost.

Pricing and Currency

All prices on our website are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars).

Prices do not include any applicable credit card processing fees. Any applicable card processing or handling fees will be clearly disclosed during checkout and applied to the total.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

Refunds and Payment Disputes

We aim to resolve any concerns fairly and promptly. If you're unsatisfied with our resolution, we welcome further discussion and will work with you in good faith to find a satisfactory outcome.
