Description
1935 Australian Shilling, struck at the Melbourne Mint during the George V series (1911–1936). A lower‑mintage year with only 500,000 produced, making it a desirable date in higher grades. Second last year of the George V shilling design before the Ram’s Head series began in 1938 (no shillings were issued in 1937).
Features:
- Composition: .925 Silver .075 Copper.
- Extremely Fine.
- Clear detail to portrait, shield, kangaroo and emu.
- Fine scratches visible in fields consistent with EF grade.
- Lower mintage of 500,000.
You will receive the photographed coin in this listing. Grade is subjective based on relevant criteria, which you may determine as a higher or lower grade than that listed.
