2026 50c – 75th Anniversary Battle of Kapyong PNC

This official Australia Post PNC commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong, featuring a pictorial envelope and a reprint of the 2000 Korean War stamp issue, paired with an uncirculated 2026 50c coin struck by the Royal Australian Mint, including an envelope privy mark on the reverse. Limited to 7,500.

The Battle of Kapyong (22–23 April 1951) was a pivotal action for Australian forces during the Korean War. Despite being heavily outnumbered, 3 RAR and Canada’s 2PPCLI successfully defended the Kapyong Valley, halting the Chinese Spring Offensive and preventing the fall of Seoul. Both battalions received the United States Presidential Distinguished Unit Citation.

The PNC includes a First Day of Issue postmark and Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
