2026 $1 Perth Mint – 100 Years Birth of Queen Elizabeth II PNC

Released to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II, this official Australia Post PNC features a $1 aluminium bronze coin struck by The Perth Mint and a commemorative stamp from the 100 Years of Queen Elizabeth’s Birth issue. Limited mintage of just 6,500.

The coin’s reverse showcases five effigies of Queen Elizabeth II used on Perth Mint coinage across her seven‑decade reign, framed by golden wattle and traditional royal symbols. The design includes the inscription “H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 100th ANNIVERSARY”, the 2026 year‑date and the Perth Mint ‘P’ mintmark.

Housed in a themed presentation card, the coin features the Dan Thomas effigy of King Charles III on the obverse. The cover includes a $1.70 Australia Post stamp, postmarked First Day of Issue – 7 April 2026, Elizabeth SA 5000, along with Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
